Bill Merritt has been making people smile for many years with his unique copper and glass creations. Bill, doing business as Ozarklake Copper Garden Art along with his wife Terrie, creates functional garden art in his studio near Camdenton, MO. His specialty is hummingbird feeders but all types of garden adornment come from his studio. All the glass used in his art began life as something else-soda bottles, vases, candlesticks, gazing balls, decanters and decanter tops. From common to elegant, glass is united with copper and repurposed into a fun and functional one-of-a-kind work of art. To see pictures of birds utilizing Bill's art, click here.
On these pages you will see the items we make and how birds use them. You will learn about the creativity behind the art and how to attract hummingbirds to your yard and feeder. We bust a few hummingbird myths, and we tell you where to purchase your own unique piece of garden art. We also show you lots of photos and videos of hummers.

Copper Garden Art
Experts agree that mixing nectar, using 4 parts water to one part cane sugar (NO RED DYE), provides hummingbirds with a perfectly safe alternative to natural flower nectar. We recognize that purchasing a pre-packaged nectar is sometimes preferable for some. The ONLY pre-packaged nectar we recommend is the all-natural, no-preservatives-added EZNectar, available at Wal-Mart, Amazon, or direct from EZ Nectar.
